Project Status
The grant was awarded in October of 2004 and the project is currently scheduled to run through September 2006. However,
the County has several extension options and additional funding may be sought to continue and/or expand activities
in the region over the coming years.

- Mar 2005 - Authored the Community Outreach Plan
- Apr 2005 - Completed Phase I Environmental Site Assessment at Seminole Mill Property
- Apr 2005 - Completed Threatened and Endangered Species Survey at Seminole Mill Property
- Apr 2005 - Completed Historical and Cultural Resource Survey at Seminole Mill Property
- May 2005 - Began Phase II site assessment activities at Seminole Mill Property
- May 2005 - Held Brownfields Task Force Meeting
- Jun 2005 - Developed Preliminary Project Brochure
- Jun 2005 - Launched project web site
