What is a Brownfield?

The City of Florence held a press conference on April 6, 2004 to announce to the public the activities that will be conducted to assess and redevelop the former Bush Recycling property. Among the attendees was the city's Mayor and Councilman Williams, key figures in securing the US EPA Brownfields Assessment grant.
